Atlantic Crossing – Back to Europe

Atlantic Crossing – Back to Europe

Yes, we are planing to sail our swimming home back to Europe and we are looking for crew support to make that happen.

Our Planned Atlantic Crossing:

We aim to set sail between mid-April and the end of April, depending on weather conditions, from Virginia (U.S.) heading east. Our first destination will be either Bermuda or directly to the Azores, whichever route aligns best with the conditions. This leg of the journey will span approximately 2,200 to 2,400 nautical miles, ending with a well-deserved rest in Horta (Azores).

Once we’re ready, we plan to sail onward to either Portugal or Gibraltar, with the exact route determined by weather conditions and routing. After reaching Gibraltar, our next potential stops include Almerimar, followed by a summer destination of either Sardinia or Sicily, depending again on weather and sailing conditions.

This journey promises to be an exciting adventure as we navigate the Atlantic and return to the Mediterranean.
